Poland’s Central Bureau for Cybercrime launched the “Game Over” operation on Nov 19, seizing 2.5 million files and arresting 100 suspects linked to child sexual abuse.

“Game Over” – Largest Pedophile Crackdown Operation

The Central Bureau for Cybercrime described “Game Over” as the biggest operation targeting pedophilic crimes, focused on individuals who produce and distribute sexual exploitation of children.

Arrests and Charges

In late November, officers carried out over 170 searches and arrested 100 men aged 18 to 70. They faced accusations of possession, distribution and production of illegal content. Two were charged with rape and forced sexual activity. Thirty‑seven of the suspects were placed in detention.

Seizure of 2.5 Million Files, Drugs and Weapons

Investigators seized 1,655 computers, laptops and storage devices, uncovering 600 000 files of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and zoophilic content. Police also seized narcotics, firearms and ammunition.

Scope of the Operation

Across seven stages, the operation involved nearly 6.5 thousand searches, 477 charges, and temporary detention for almost 200 suspects. Overall, more than 2.5 million pedophilic files were secured.

Operation Date and Coordination

“Game Over” was carried out on 19 November, International Day for the Prevention of Violence against Children. It was tightly coordinated with the Cybercrime and Informatics Department of the National Prosecutor’s Office and local prosecutors nationwide, supported by squads from the Counter‑Human Trafficking Department and regional police commands.
