Club president and owner Jarosław Królewski noted that the match served as a celebration of the club’s 120th anniversary alongside their promotion. The day included a retro match commemorating the 1936 game against Chelsea FC, which Wisła won 3-2 in a reenactment organized by the Historia Wisły association.
Pre-match entertainment featured performances by Kamil Bednarek, Tomasz Organek, and the Mała Armia Janosika ensemble. Following the match, the team received the 1st League trophy from PZPN president Cezary Kulesza before parading to the Main Market Square.
