KitKat Truck Vanishes During European Delivery

Last week, 12 tons of KitKat chocolate bars went missing in Europe after thieves stole the truck transporting them, Nestlé announced Saturday.

The truck, carrying 413,793 bars from a new product line, had departed from central Italy for distribution throughout Europe, but never reached its final destination in Poland.

Tracking Stolen Goods

The exact location where the truck disappeared remains undisclosed.

Nestlé stated that the stolen bars can be traced using a unique batch code; anyone scanning the code will receive instructions on contacting the manufacturer.

“While we appreciate the criminals’ discerning taste, cargo theft remains a growing concern for businesses of all sizes,” the Swiss food giant said.
