Prosecutors in Poland charged 14 people connected to Kraków pseudocubs for an ax‑assault on the A4 highway in 2017, revealing a drug‑trafficking network.
Charges Filed Against 14 Suspects
Prosecutors accused 14 individuals of belonging to an organized criminal group that smuggled and sold large quantities of drugs, used dangerous weapons in assaults, and laundered the proceeds.
Ax Attack on the A4 Highway
The suspects allegedly attacked a vehicle on the A4 Kraków–Katowice stretch in 2017, striking it with an ax to force the occupants, members of a rival pseudocubs group, to abandon the wreck. Victims sustained life‑threatening injuries.
Drug Trafficking Operations
Investigators found that between 2015 and 2022 the suspects moved at least 350 kg of drugs—including marijuana, cocaine, mefedron, and methamphetamine—through Poland.
Estimated Value of Seized Drugs
The seized drugs are valued at roughly 5.5 million zlotys.
