Drone Flight and Police Intervention
On April 2nd, Płock police reported receiving a notification on March 29th regarding a violation of the no-fly zone over the refinery. The 14-year-old pilot intended to record a car from above, take photos, and practice maneuvers.
During the flight, the pilot received a notification about entering the prohibited zone. The drone was located, and security personnel arrived, summoning a police patrol. The teenager and his guardian were detained.

The 14-year-old informed officers he attempted to verify flight permissions before takeoff but dismissed the check due to connection issues with the application. While the pilot possessed the required license, he faces consequences and will soon appear in family court.

According to February 2025 aviation law, penalties for illegal flights include fines, restriction of freedom, and imprisonment for up to five years.
