Legal Requirements for Electric Scooter Use

Polish traffic regulations clearly state that children under 10 years old are not allowed to use electric scooters in public areas, even with adult supervision. Those between 10 and 18 years old require a bicycle card or a category AM, A1, B1, or T driver’s license, similar to bicycle riding requirements. No such document is required for individuals over 18 years old.

The police are urging caution and responsible use of electric scooters, emphasizing that adherence to traffic regulations can prevent unnecessary tragedies.
