Central Warsaw police identified and detained a 15‑year‑old Ukrainian after footage of him scaling the Młyńskie Koło at the closed festival grounds beneath the Palace of Culture and Science surfaced on X and other social media platforms.

At his home the teenager surprised police, confessed to the stunt, explaining he enjoys climbing various structures. Officers seized a GoPro camera, climbing gloves, and a laptop from his bedroom.

Police were alerted to the danger of a device detonating while the mill was bustling, describing the location as “the heart of Warsaw” and stressing the possible endangerment of by‑standers.
