17‑Year‑Old Struck by Tram in Białołęka

A 17‑year‑old girl was struck by a subway tram on December 8 at roughly 15:30 in Białołęka’s Światowida‑Myśliborska intersection.

Accident Details

At about 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, a 17‑year‑old pedestrian was hit by a Tram 105N heading toward the Młociny loop at the intersection of Światowida and Myśliborska Streets in the Białołęka district.

The girl crossed the pedestrian crossing at a red light just before the tram arrived, leading to the collision.

Emergency Response

Firefighters, medical rescue team, and police were dispatched to the scene. The fire brigade secured the area and the tracks while first aid was provided on site.

The victim received initial treatment and was transported with a head injury to a hospital.

Transit Disruption

Tram traffic along Światowida was halted until the emergency services cleared the obstruction, after which service resumed after roughly 40 minutes.

Lines 2 and 17 were rerouted in both directions to detour routes. Line 2 operated on the route Metro Młociny → AK Kampinos → Marymoncka → Metro Marymont.

Line 17 was directed to the end of the Młociny line: Marymoncka → AK Kampinos → Młociny.

Bus line “Z ZA TRAMWAJ” operated on the route Metro Młociny ↔ General Maria Wittek ↔ Most Skłodowskiej‑Curie ↔ Myśliborska ↔ Światowida ↔ Winnica.

Additional affected lines: 126, 152, 186, 211, 314, 509, and 518.
