The impact left the 35‑year‑old passenger of the Ford dead on the scene and injured several other occupants.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the 18‑year‑old driver of the Ford left a subordinate road without yielding to a 26‑year‑old Oplema driver, leading to the crash.

Police have confirmed that both drivers were sober and licensed, and that the Ford sustained severe damage while the passengers endured extensive injuries.
