Lajk Taxi released a comprehensive statement clarifying online reports and describing events from their perspective, thanking drivers and police for quick actions.

The statement confirms the driver is conscious, communicative and recovering from severe injuries.

Attack Details

The assault occurred on the night of 13 to 14 November on Zachodnia Street in Milanówko, Grodziskie County.

During a fare, a passenger on the back seat stabbed the driver with a knife, striking him in the torso.

The driver was taken to hospital; police and medical rescue teams were on the scene.

Arrest of Suspect

An 18‑year‑old Polish citizen was detained on suspicion of involvement.

Police and prosecutors are conducting proceedings to determine motive and exact sequence.
