Karol Nawrocki to Meet Donald Trump – Date Set, Special Gift Sent

Chief of the President’s Office announced that Karol Nawrocki will meet Donald Trump in early September.

Chief of the President’s Office, Paweł Szefernaker, informed that President Nawrocki will meet President Trump in early September. An official congratulatory letter sent on the inauguration day stated that Trump invited Nawrocki to the White House for a formal working meeting on 3 September 2025.

Campaign Announcement: Washington Visit with Vatican Stop

During a pre‑election debate in April, Nawrocki pledged that upon taking office he would first visit Washington to reshape Poland’s international relations and address shortcomings left by former President Donald Tusk.

He also announced that the trip would include a stop in Vatican City, emphasizing his aim to keep Poland as a leader in economic, business, and security affairs and to strengthen EU‑US ties.

Nawrocki met Trump in early May during a National Day of Prayer event held in the White House Rose Garden.

Gift from the American Delegation

On the inauguration day, the American delegation sent President Nawrocki a special gift, reported by Marcin Przydacz, head of the International Policy Office. Rather than a typical congratulatory note, the US President chose a unique present – a bronze copy of the American eagle, the national emblem.

This gesture, he said, illustrates the close interpersonal relationship between the two leaders and signals promising future cooperation, noting the eagle’s significance to both American and Polish heritage.
