Every person who broke the law at the concert will be punished, says Minister Marcin Kierwiński. He does not rule out deportation of offenders from their home countries.
Incident at the National Stadium
On Saturday, PGE Narodowe in Warsaw hosted a concert by Belarusian rapper Maks Korż. Some attendees jumped barriers and defied regulations by accessing the stadium floor. Security intervened, followed by police, although the police presence was not directly on the floor. Photos from the event show a Banderia flag, linked to the Ukrainian Nationalist Organization’s revolutionary faction.
Police: 50 Individuals Fined
Police detained 109 people for numerous violations and offenses such as possession of narcotics, assault on security staff, possession and transport of pyrotechnic materials, and intrusion onto the mass event. Police fined 50 individuals a total of 11,450 zlotys. 38 charges were forwarded to the court. Officers are investigating all critical details and identifying those responsible for slogans that intensify prohibited acts. The compiled evidence has already been forwarded to the prosecutor for legal assessment.
Kierwiński Doesn’t Rule Out Deportation of Those Who Arrived From Their Home Country
Procedures are underway concerning the presence of three symbols and three flags with totalitarian slogans. Police collaborate with stadium staff to identify those involved, expecting quick results. “Every person who broke the law at the concert will be punished,” said Kierwiński on Monday. “If these individuals did not observe the law on Polish territory, we will certainly implement procedures to return them to their home country.”
Stadium Operator Files Notification
The board of PGE Narodowe, the venue operator, filed a notification a potential crime. Together with the organizer, we firmly condemn the exhibition of content promoting any totalitarian system or inciting hatred. Our venue rules prohibit the display of symbols, slogans, or signs associated with totalitarian regimes or spreading hatred based on nationality, ethnicity, or culture.
