Jarosław Kaczyński labeled protesters at the Smolensk memorial “trash,” prompting PiS MP Paweł Jabłoński to defend the President, describing the demonstrators as “cattle.”
Paweł Jabłoński Defends Kaczyński
Paweł Jabłoński, a member of the Law and Justice party, defended the remarks made by Jarosław Kaczyński during the Smolensk memorial event in Warsaw, stating that while he does not use the word “trash,” he would call the protesters “cattle” because of their actions.
Jabłoński Criticizes Demonstrators for Ongoing Harassment
Jabłoński accused the demonstrators of repeatedly insulting victims of the Smolensk tragedy and those who come to pray, claiming these acts occur under the watch of police and the government of former Prime Minister Tusk. He criticized those in power for tolerating such behaviour and pointed out that the activists, who lack any real power, are now just victims themselves.
Kaczyński’s Remarks at the Smolensk Memorial
During his speech, Kaczyński warned that the current protestors should be dealt with by security services, implying that they would eventually end up in prison. He condemned ongoing political negligence and referred to government officials as part of the “KPO” (Citizen Platform’s Channel), insisting that these powers must end.
