According to reports from RMF FM, the incident occurred on Sunday, 10 August, at a car parked on a private property in Elbląg (Warmian‑Masurian Voivodeship). The 57‑year‑old male allegedly first shot his wife, seated behind the wheel, before taking his own life.

Police Take Statement

As reported to “Fakt,” the 51‑year‑old woman sustained a gunshot wound to her head. Investigators found the husband’s body under circumstances suggesting an extended suicide. Police officer Krzysztof Nowacki of the Elbląg City Police Command relayed that the firearm was seized for ballistic examination. Prosecution in Elbląg will investigate the case to clarify the circumstances and whether any other persons were involved, while a team of investigators and forensic technicians from the Olsztyn Provincial Police Command works on the scene.
