On Sunday, 10 August, ‘Rzeczpospolita’ published the results of the latest poll, in which SW Research surveyors asked participants whether Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, who also received the vice-premier title in July, would be a better prime minister than Donald Tusk. 26.8% agreed with this statement. In contrast, 15.5% of respondents disagreed. 34.7% of respondents do not see any difference between the two KO politicians, while 23% have no opinion about this matter.
SW Research also inquired about Sikorski’s performance
49.5% of respondents gave him a positive assessment (ranging from good to excellent). 14.6% rated him ‘adequate’, 22.7% judged the minister poorly, and 13.2% had no opinion.
Young and Male Respondents Rate Sikorski Most Favorably
SW Research analyst Justyna Sobczak reported that nearly one in three male respondents and one in four female respondents believe that Radosław Sikorski would be a better head of government than Donald Tusk. This opinion is more common among those aged 25 to 34 (39%). Sikorski would better serve as prime minister according to three out of ten respondents with higher education, and one out of three (34%) with net incomes exceeding 7,000 PLN. Due to place of residence, this view is most popular among respondents from cities with populations between 200,000 and 499,000 (35%).
