August 10 General Rehearsal Highlights Navy’s Extensive Participation

On Sunday, August 10, a general rehearsal in Warsaw marked the lead-up to the Polish Army Day parade. Kosiniak‑Kamysz stated that four thousand soldiers would take part and that the Navy will present a massive presence—its largest formation to date—along with the first ever sea parade on the Baltic, skirting the Helsinki Peninsula.

Polish Army Day: ‘We Will Display Both Shield and Sword During the Parade’

General Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the General Staff, emphasized that during the parade the forces will showcase both the symbolic shield and the literal sword, aligning with the strategy to prepare the state for defense and strengthen.

Warsaw: Polish Army Day Celebrations to Begin at the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb

The festivities start on Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m. at the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb on Piłsudski Square. Soldiers will honor heroes during the guard change. At noon the parade departs toward Wisłostrada. The event will feature 88 standard-bearer units and international delegations, including the United States and the United Kingdom. For the first time, soldiers from outside NATO—specifically Australian troops—will participate.
