In May, during the campaign, the portal Onet.pl published that Karol Nawrocki allegedly arranged for sexual workers to be brought to a hotel where he worked. “Onet will file a civil suit for defamation and a criminal complaint on the basis of these lies and hatred,” Nawrocki replied at the time on X.

Addressing the media allegations, KO MP Artur Łącki said, “Nawrocki brought prostitutes to Grand Hotel in Sopot; he also did so when he was museum director.” “PiS chose a candidate‑prostitutor for the Poles,” the parliamentarian added. Prostitution involves encouraging or facilitating immoral acts. Under Polish law, this is a crime that can lead to up to ten years in prison in extreme cases.

“I Apologize to the President”

During a Tuesday interview for Kanal Zero, Łącki was asked about his apology. “Do you still consider the new president a prostitutor?” asked host Krzysztof Stanowski. “No, I do not,” Łącki replied, “I also am not offended, even though you called me an idiot. Perhaps I went too far. We have a new president; for the good of Poland we should reconcile.” “I apologize to the president. It is in the heat of battle,” he concluded.
