Warsaw mayor Rafał Trzaskowski confirms that plans for the Polish Future Campus are postponed for this year, while inviting participants to a new event—the Campus Academy 2025 in Międzyzdroje.
Rafał Trzaskowski: Rumors of Campus’ Death Were Definitely Exaggerated
On Wednesday, August 13, the mayor of Warsaw posted a video on Instagram to address growing speculation about his youth outreach initiative. The recording mentions phrases such as “Campus is dead,” “Trzaskowski shoots a bullet,” and “Campus 2025 is dead.” He promptly clarified: “Rumors of Campus’ death were definitely exaggerated.” Trzaskowski then announced an invitation to the upcoming Campus Academy 2025, which will take place in Międzyzdroje from September 25‑28.
Pause in Organizing the Polish Future Campus
In July, Trzaskowski announced that the Polish Future Campus would not occur in its existing format this year. He apologized to participants and promised a return in August next year. He explained that a revision of the format is necessary to adapt to changing realities. The mayor emphasized the importance of the campus for many young people—both participants and organizers—and assured that the event would continue to grow. He also called on volunteers to return to the campus, under the Campus Academy structure, inviting applications for Międzyzdroje in September 2025 and encouraging event registration until August 15. The 2026 edition is already being planned.
