Police Findings

Police determined that the man tried to help his daughters, who were pulled into deep water by waves and currents. The teens ultimately managed to reach land independently. The incident occurred at a lifeguard‑unattended beach.

On Sunday, at the entrance to the beach in Sztutowo, a 69‑year‑old woman drowned. Police stated that while walking along the shore, she was likely pulled in by waves and currents. She died despite intensive CPR lasting about 40 minutes.
