Wisłok Wiśniowa released a statement on Sunday, August 17, announcing the death of their goalkeeper, Dawid Kaszuba, at age 30. The club, players, and fans extended sincere condolences to his family and close ones.

Tragic Accident at Jezioro Solińskie

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 16, at Jezioro Solińskie in Podkarpacie. Dawid Kaszuba was together with his wife when, after 7 p.m., WOPR received a call reporting that a man had fallen from the edge of Wyspa Skalistej into the water. Search operations were halted around 10 p.m. when rescuers could not locate the missing 30‑year‑old. A new search was launched the following Sunday, and the body was found in the afternoon.

Career Highlights

Kaszuba began his football career at Salos Słupsk. He later played as a goalkeeper for Stali Rzeszów, Izolator Boguchwała, Sokół Kolbuszowa Dolna, and KS Dąbrówki. In his final years, he competed in Poland’s fourth league with Wisłok Wiśniowa.
