Kraków‑Balice Airport Flight Operations Suspended: Service Action

Kraków‑Balice airport authorities announced that flight operations to and from the airport were temporarily suspended for safety reasons. Operations resumed before 10:00.

For security reasons, flight operations to and from Kraków Airport were temporarily suspended while state services conducted inspections.

For Safety Reasons, Flight Operations Temporarily Suspended

Airport authorities expressed gratitude to passengers for their understanding. Flights to Zurich and Munich were cancelled, a Brussels flight was delayed, and all operations were fully restored before 10:00 A.M.

Situation Required Inspection

Spokesperson Monika Chylaszek clarified that the situation required Border Guard investigation, and no dangerous findings emerged. Aircraft scheduled after 9:00 are now marked “awaiting” with anticipated landing times listed in the flight table.
