A 63‑year‑old councilman has been charged with repeatedly arranging sexual contact with a minor under 15 and faces up to 15 years in prison after confessing in court.
Incident and Arrest
On Wednesday the woman’s mother reported the alleged crime to prosecutor Liliana Łukasiewicz, and the 63‑year‑old man was detained the same day. Authorities have kept details about the victim’s exact age, the nature of the incidents, and the child’s hometown confidential to protect the minor.
Confession
The councilman appeared before the court on Thursday, where he admitted to the offenses and provided explanations. Prosecutor Łukasiewicz stated that he had not been previously convicted.
Charges
Prosecutors say that between February and August 2025 he repeatedly arranged sexual contact with a girl under 15, potentially exposing her to significant harm. He now faces a possible sentence of up to 15 years. The prosecutor has requested a court order for provisional arrest.
