A serious motorcycle crash on Bemowie Street left a rider severely injured, forcing a hospital transfer after a collision near Radiowa and Apenińska.
Crash Details
A Suzuki motorcyclist was involved in a severe crash on Bemowie Street, near the intersection with Radiowa. The rider collided with—or was forced into a sudden maneuver by—a bus‑type vehicle, which then fled the scene. The bike struck a curb, causing the rider to fall off and sustain serious injuries while the vehicle continued along the asphalt for several dozen metres.Emergency Response
Firefighters and medical rescuers were among the first to arrive, providing immediate first aid. The injured rider was then transported to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Traffic Impact
In response, two traffic lanes on Kaliskiego Street were blocked. Two fire-fighting squads and the road maintenance crew were active at the scene, while traffic control from the Transport Inspectorate secured the area.
Investigation
Police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact facts and sequence of events that led to the crash.
