A taxi driver in Krakow was attacked by two men, one of whom fled while the other collapsed nearby. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the police are conducting an investigation.

A taxi car stopped on the side of the road on Alei Pokoju in Krakow. Two men exited the vehicle. One collapsed near the taxi, losing consciousness. It was later confirmed that the individual was the taxi driver. The second man fled the scene, according to a statement by Inspector Katarzyna Cisło of the Krakow Voivodeship Police Headquarters in an interview with Gazeta.pl.

Police Investigation Underway

The taxi driver, a middle-aged foreigner, was hospitalized with stab wounds and bruising. His condition is stable, and the injuries do not threaten his life. The police have secured the vehicle and footage from surveillance cameras. An investigation into the attacker is ongoing, though officials have not yet disclosed any details about the suspect.
