A 26-year-old man in Konin was allegedly abducted and tortured by his ex-partner and another man. One suspect and the ex-partner were arrested, while the second suspect remains at large with an active arrest warrant.
Abduction of a 26-Year-Old Man
An incident occurred on Monday in Konin when the man’s ex-partner, who had previously imposed a restraining order against him, called and asked him to visit her apartment. Instead, he found two men at the location, both of whom were reportedly planning to torture him, including committing sexual assault using items from the apartment. Police arrested one suspect, a 24-year-old man, and the ex-partner of the 26-year-old. Both were taken into custody.
Arrest Warrant for Alan Bartczak
The second man allegedly involved in the abduction of the 26-year-old is being sought. The district prosecutor’s office in Konin issued an arrest warrant. This refers to 30-year-old Alan Bartczak, a resident of Konin. Authorities urge anyone with information about his current whereabouts to contact the Konin City Police Headquarters at Przemysłowa 2, phone number 47 77 52 143. They warn that concealing the suspect or aiding his escape could result in up to five years in prison. Unofficial reports from Gazeta Wyborcza indicate that the man is now the boyfriend of the 26-year-old woman.
