Warsaw is preparing for the final stage of the 2025 Tour of the Warsaw Battle, where cyclists will race through the city centre and Powiśle on Sunday, 24 August, with road closures, bus detours and strict parking bans in effect.
Race Route and Schedule
The decisive stage of the UCI Tour of the Warsaw Battle 2025 takes place on Sunday, 24 August. Cyclists will start from Krakowskie Przedmieście next to Hoover Square and navigate a loop that takes them through Miodowa, Senatorska, Theatrical Square, Wierzbowo, Piłsudski Square, Królewska, Nowy Świat, Świętokrzyska, Kopernika, Tamka, Dobra, Karowa, the Markiewicz viaduct, and back to Krakowskie Przedmieście.
Traffic Restrictions
All streets along the race route will be closed to motor traffic from 10:00 to 18:00. During this period, the Niecała Street will not connect to Wierzbowo, and Canaletta will be set to two‑way traffic. A temporary “sluza” (sluice) will be constructed on Powiśle to facilitate exit, and police will allow vehicles on Browarna to pass the intersection with Karowa straight to Furmanska.
Public Transport Adjustments
Bus lines 100, 106, 107, 111, 116, 118, 127, 128, 162, 175, 178, 180, 503, and 518 will operate on detour routes throughout the day. For detailed schedules and changes, consult the Warsaw Public Transport website.
Parking Rules
Parking is prohibited on all roads of the race route for the entire Sunday, with vehicles subject to towing at the owner’s expense. In addition, no cars may be left in the parking area at Theatrical Square during the event.
