On Monday, August 18, local authorities reported the death of a man from Młynisk, Lubartów County, in the Lublin region. Police received a call about a shot fired at a man during the night of Saturday to Sunday (August 16–17). Three hunters were present at the hunt site when the man exited his home and was shot. One of the bullets was fatal. After preliminary investigations, two of the hunters were released, while the 40-year-old Sławomir A. admitted to firing two shots. However, “Fact” reported that prosecutors now suspect the 12-year-old son of Sławomir A. may have fired the fatal shot, citing the hunter’s scope-equipped rifle should have allowed him to distinguish between a human and a wild boar.
