A severe collision occurred on the regional road 721 in Paszkowie, involving a bus and a passenger car, leaving the bus on its side.
Incident Details
The collision took place at a traffic light intersection near the S8 highway junction, with preliminary investigations indicating the bus driver ran a red light. The passenger car driver struck the side of the bus, causing it to rebound, hit energy-absorbing barriers, a road sign, and overturn, completely blocking the road.
Emergency Response
The Rescue Aviation Squadron (Ratownik12) and the Medical Rescue Team were dispatched to the scene, along with the fire department. Upon examining the participants, it was confirmed that no one sustained serious injuries and hospitalization was not required.
Police Intervention and Road Clearance
Further proceedings were handled by the police. The road remained blocked during the emergency operations until the overturned bus was righted and removed from the pavement.
