A court has decided to keep right-wing influencers Wojciech O. and Marcin O. in custody until December 1, citing concerns over threats they may carry out that could endanger lives and health.
Arrest Extension Decision
Custody Until December 1
The court hearing regarding the extension of custody for Wojciech O. and Marcin O. took place on Tuesday. According to the decision, the right-wing influencers will remain in custody until December 1. Anna Ptaszek, spokesperson for the Warsaw District Court, stated in an interview with the newspaper that the court relied on Article 258 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This includes fears of the accused committing acts that could pose a threat to health and life. “The brutality in the threats, along with the emotional burden accompanying them, led the court to consider the risk of their realization as real,” she said.
Rodacy Kamraci Movement
Wojciech O. and Marcin O. are primarily known for broadcasts streamed online. Some sections of the public may recognize them by their pseudonyms “Jaszczur” and “Ludwiczek.” Leaders of the Rodacy Kamraci movement were arrested in early June and have remained in custody since. The Warsaw-Praga District Prosecution Office indicated that the indictment covers their activities over the past six months before arrest, totaling 154 charges. “Jaszczur” and “Ludwiczek” are accused, among other things, of publicly praising crimes, inciting racial hatred, insulting individuals based on racial affiliation, and endorsing violence due to political allegiance.
Investigation into 1,200 Incidents
Wojciech O. has previously been punished for similar offenses, including a six-month prison sentence two years ago for inciting violence. He was also ordered to perform community service. Investigators have not ruled out further charges in the case against Wojciech O. and Marcin O., as the probe continues. It examines over 1,200 incidents involving both men from 2015 to 2024.
