According to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, which announced details in February this year, Cienkowska participated in a ceremony at the Polish Embassy in Canberra, marking the official handover of the 19th-century Holey Dollar coin. The coin had been stolen from the Torun Regional Museum years earlier and entered the auction market. “In 2022, thanks to information from the police [https://wiadomosci.gazeta.pl/policja#anchorLink], prosecution [https://wiadomosci.gazeta.pl/prokuratura#anchorLink], and staff of the Torun Regional Museum, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage located the coin in Australia,” the ministry stated.
