Around 6:10 PM, a Fiat delivery truck parked between trees on Krzyżówki Street in Białołęce was engulfed in flames. The fire spread to the surrounding grass and shrubs, creating thick plumes of black smoke visible from a distance.
Residents Report Truck’s Long-Term Presence
Local residents noted that the truck had been parked in the area for an extended period, occasionally shifting its position by a few meters. A solar panel rack installed on its roof likely powered cameras mounted on the vehicle.
Firefighters Extinguish Flames Using Two Water Streams
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fully developed fire. They deployed two water streams to combat the blaze. Inside the truck, several propane-butane gas cylinders were found, which were later removed and cooled to prevent further risks.
