President Andrzej Duda concluded his term on August 6, awarding 268 employees—more than half of the Presidential Office staff—and delivered a farewell address emphasizing security and prosperity.

The award fund has previously been partially blocked. Last year the money was redirected to aid in flood relief in Lower Silesia, and during the pandemic, bonus payouts were also suspended.

No Immediate Layoffs Planned

Nawrocki has stated that he does not intend to reduce staff levels in the Presidential Office. Workforce numbers in 2024 stood at 421 employees, according to the National Institute of Public Administration.
