A recent IBRiS poll places Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski at the top of the trust scale, while President Karol Nawrocki drops out of the top two. New Hope’s Sławomir Mentzen sees a sharp decline in support and Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia falls to the bottom of the list.
Trust Ranking: Huge Drop for the President
The IBRiS survey conducted for Onet shows Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski leading the trust rankings with 41.8% support, a slight dip of 0.4 percentage points from July. President Karol Nawrocki falls to second place with 41.4%, a 5.5pp decline. Warsaw’s mayor Rafal Trzaskowski is third with 39.9%, down 0.6pp. Just below the podium sits Donald Tusk, who enjoys 36.4% trust. Other close figures include Magdalena Bieda (35.8%), Mateusz Morawiecki (35.2%), Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz (34.9%) and Andrzej Duda (34.3%).
Mentzen Declines, Hołownia Falls to Bottom
The survey also highlights a decline in support for New Hope leader Sławomir Mentzen, who now enjoys only 28.9% trust, down 6.3pp. Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia, at the bottom of the list, has gained 20.3% trust—a 1.8pp increase. In July, 62.9% of respondents did not trust Hołownia, and 17.7% were indifferent. Currently, 48.6% distrust him while 30.1% remain indifferent.
CBOS Survey Shows Parliamentary Support Levels
The CBOS poll released last week indicates that if parliamentary elections were held in August, 30% of respondents would vote for the Civic Coalition, with a similar result for Law and Justice. Confederation would receive 12% support, New Left 7%, Together Party 5%, Polish Crown Confederation 3%, Poland 2050 2%, and the Polish People’s Party 1%. Undecided voters account for 9%.
