Two women escaped uninjured after their Audi smashed into a trash compactor in Warsaw’s Ochota district, causing the structure to collapse.
Alleged pedal misoperation led to accident
Emergency services responded after the Audi hit the brick trash compactor on Włodarzewska Street near Grójecka on Wednesday at 6:12 PM. Both passengers were examined by paramedics but did not require hospitalization.
Compactor partially destroyed
Firefighters who arrived at the scene pulled the car out of the collapsed structure, which then caused the roof to fall in. This necessitated securing the entire compartment.
No police involvement
The Audi driver, who was driving an Audi, made a statement to the administrator, which allowed the case to be resolved without involving the police. Two fire brigades were involved in the actions.
