Former Health Minister Assaulted: Court Decides on Arrest for Two Men

Polish court orders arrest for two men who allegedly assaulted former Health Minister Adam Niedzielski outside a Siedlce restaurant.

Police Arrest Suspects

Two men, aged 35 and 39, were arrested and subsequently charged with committing assault and making threats due to Niedzielski’s political activities.

Niedzielski’s Account

The former minister was attacked after leaving a restaurant, suffering a blow to the face and being kicked while on the ground. The assault lasted only a few seconds before the perpetrators fled the scene.

Prosecutor’s Statement

According to the Siedlce District Prosecutor’s Office, the attackers specifically targeted Niedzielski and verified his identity before proceeding with the assault. The prosecutor also mentioned that both perpetrators were under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
