The Regional Climate Centre (RCB) has issued storm alerts for potential flooding and power outages affecting parts of northeastern and northwestern Poland.
Warmia-Mazury and Pomeranian Provinces
The alert warning of possible power disruptions and high winds was sent to recipients in parts of the Warmia-Mazury, Pomeranian, and Kuyavian-Pomeranian provinces.
Areas affected include the towns of Elbląg and the Elbląsk, Braniewski, Inowrocławski, and Mogileński districts in the Warmia-Mazury and Kuyavian-Pomeranian provinces, as well as the Sztumski, Malborski, and Nowodworski districts in the Pomeranian Province.
Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie, and Lubuskie Provinces
Simultaneously, recipients in parts of the Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie, and Lubuskie provinces were notified of intense rainfall.
The alert warns of possible flooding, advising residents to avoid swollen rivers and follow the instructions of emergency services.
Details on Doleśląskie Province
In the Dolnośląskie province, the warning covers the Bolesławiecki, Głogowski, Górowski, Jaworski, Kamiennogórski, Karkonoski, Legnicki, Lubański, Lubiński, Lwówecki, Milicki, Polkowicki, Średzki, Świdnicki, Trzebnicki, Wałbrzyski, Wołowski, Zgorzelecki, and Złotoryjski districts, including the towns of Jelenia Góra, Legnica, and Wałbrzych.
Wielkopolskie and Lubuskie Provinces
Residents of the Wielkopolskie province will be affected in the Gostyński, Grodziski, Kościański, Krotoszyński, Leszczyński, Rawicki, Śremski, and Wolsztyński districts, as well as in the town of Leszno.
The Lubuskie province includes the Nowosolski, Wschowski, Zielonogórski, Żagański, Żarski districts, and the town of Zielona Góra.
