Ukrainian man arrested for threatening Warsaw arson attacks

Polish police arrested a 29-year-old Ukrainian man for threatening arson attacks against Polish citizens in retaliation for the cancellation of 800+ welfare benefits.

Arrest led to terror charges

Polish authorities arrested the 29-year-old Ukrainian national as part of a terror investigation. Police seized materials that showed him threatening arson attacks.

Reason for arrest

Police began the investigation after receiving information about his activities and shortly afterwards launched a search leading to his arrest.

Deportation proceeding

The Warsaw police command is cooperating with Border Guard officials in the process of sending the 29-year-old back to Ukraine.
