Warsaw prosecutors have called into question the authenticity of F-16 crash recordings aired by TVN24, stating they may have been fabricated using artificial intelligence.

Polish prosecutors revealed that they are investigating the fatal F-16 crash in Radom in which pilot Maciej “Slab” Krakowian lost his life during airshow rehearsals. The 31 Tactical Air Force Base sent a team to Radom Airport to uncover the cause of the tragedy.
TVN24 Air Traffic Controller Recording Debates
TVN24 published the purported air traffic controller recordings, which allegedly took place between the controller and pilots practicing for the airshow in Radom. According to the recordings, the air traffic controller confused the planes and provided incorrect information.
Authenticity Concerns Raised
Procurator Piotr Antoni Skiba, from the Warsaw District Public Prosecutor’s Office, spoke to the PAP news agency about the matter, stating he cannot confirm the authenticity of the recordings shared by TVN24. “It’s also not ruled out that the recordings could have been created using artificial intelligence,” added Skiba.
