The Trump administration is planning to relocate over two million residents of Gaza by offering $5,000 compensation for relocation, according to a leaked 38-page document obtained by The Washington Post.
Leaked 38-Page Document Details
The document outlines two possible approaches: voluntary relocation to another country or temporary placement within secured enclosures within Gaza. The U.S. would provide $5,000 per person for relocation, along with four-year rent subsidies and annual living expense money.
‘GREAT Trust’ Proposal
The proposal, titled “Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust,” suggests offering property owners “digital tokens” instead of land rights. These tokens could be used to fund a new life elsewhere or eventually exchanged for housing in one of the six to eight new “intelligent, AI-powered cities” planned for Gaza.
Trump’s Recent White House Meeting
Around the same time, Trump held a White House meeting focusing on Gaza’s future after the Israel-Hamas conflict. Attendees included Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, son-in-law and former advisor Jared Kushner, Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
