Warsaw City Bus Driver Suspected of Drug Use After Police Interception

A Warszawa city bus driver was apprehended by police early Monday morning after being reported for suspected drug use during his shift.

Initial Report:

A witness contacted police at approximately 1 AM to report a city bus driver who was allegedly under the influence of a prohibited substance while on duty, this involving the N37 night-line bus service in Warsaw.

Interception:

Police responded to the report at Ursynów, at al. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej, near the Dolinki Służewieckiej, where the public transport ZTM inspection stopped the bus and prevented the driver from continuing.

Drug Test and Arrest:

Approximately 30-year-old driver tested positive for being under the influence of controlled substances, resulting in his arrest and further investigation.
