17-year-old motorcycle rider crashes head-on into car in Poland’s Kozienice County

A 17-year-old motorcyclist crashed head-on into a 76-year-old driver’s Fiat Panda in Kozienice County on Tuesday morning, suffering serious injuries and being airlifted to a Warsaw hospital.

Persistent negligence

The driver of the motorbike, a 17-year-old from Kozienice County on an Aprilla, failed to exercise proper caution during a maneuver at approximately 8am, according to preliminary police findings.

Medical response

Following the collision, emergency services including the fire brigade, medical rescue teams, the LPR rescue helicopter, and police responded to the scene, which remained completely blocked off throughout the incident.

Certifications and sobriety

The motorcyclist possessed the required license category AM1 for motorcycle operation, while the Fiat driver was found sober.
