The image in question showed a German official placing a wreath at a remembrance site for Polish victims while wearing casual clothing. Critics argued it reduced the solemn event to a routine gardening task.
Official Response
Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Paweł Wroński said the image featured on a television station, which he refused to name out of respect. He criticized the lack of decency in publishing such a ‘dull’ image during the anniversary of World War II’s outbreak.
