Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski advised presidential envoy Karol Nawrocki on talking points for his meeting with US President Donald Trump, specifically regarding Putin’s aims in Ukraine and advocating for a fair peace.

During a recorded meeting published on Tuesday (2nd September), Sikorski shared guidance with Nawrocki ahead of his discussion with Trump. He reminded Nawrocki that similar talks were also being conducted in the U.S.

The Council of Ministers adopted an official position to assist Nawrocki’s work, ensuring the president knew the key points for his talks. “We are most concerned that President Nawrocki addresses the real objectives of Putin in Ukraine and pleads for a just peace for Ukraine,” Sikorski emphasized. The foreign minister also advised against reductions in American forces in Europe, particularly in Poland.
