Teenager Allegedly Rams Baby Stroller in Warsaw, Attacked Elderly with Tear Gas

A 16-year-old boy allegedly crashed his electric scooter into a baby stroller in Warsaw, attacked the mother and child with tear gas, and clashed with witnesses, causing the elderly mother to faint.

The Collision

A mother pushing her five-month-old child in a stroller collided with a group of around 20 teens on electric scooters, police reported. The incident occurred on Królewska street near Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw on August 31st at approximately 8:10 PM.

The Assault

After the collision occurred, an agitated teenager allegedly released tear gas towards the mother and child. The boy then reportedly began arguing with bystanders over the damage to his scooter. When the mother threatened to call the police, the group advanced and the perpetrator sprayed the gas, shouting to others that the victims had “done something” to him.

The Emergency

The mother claimed that her elderly mother was left visually impaired due to the intense spray, while she herself began to suffocate. Witnesses attempted to apprehend the culprit but he evaded capture, abandoning his scooter and gas canister.
