A Volvo vehicle crashed into tram 26 on the intersection of Wolska and Sowińskiego streets in Warsaw’s Wola district, fortunately with no injuries.
The Accident
According to preliminary findings, the driver of the Volvo vehicle did not notice the approaching tram and collided straight into the tramcar, causing the vehicle to turn over on its side.
Response and Safety Measures
Police and Warsaw Tramway Traffic Supervisors arrived at the scene. During the investigation, tram traffic was suspended at the intersection.
After the actions of the services were completed, traffic was restored.
