Starting September 11th, Poland’s AUTOstrada Wielkopolska SA will implement toll increases on the A2 highway between Nowy Tomysl and Konin, with car drivers facing a 37 zł charge for each of the three 50km segments.

New Toll schedule starting September 11

The updated toll prices for the 150km stretch between Nowy Tomysl and Konin will be as follows: 19 zł for motorcycles, 37 zł for two-axle passenger cars, 63 zł for two-axle vehicles with twin wheels or trailers, 96 zł for three-axle vehicles or trailers, and 146 zł for vehicles with more than three axles. Heavy vehicles will face a 370 zł charge. In miles, prices increase by 2, 6, 8, 16, or 20 grosz.

Illustrative total costs

For passenger cars, the total cost for the entire 150km stretch will be 111 zł (3 x 37 zł), while motorcycle riders will pay 57 zł (3 x 19 zł). Prices for heavier categories will be 189 zł (cat. 2), 288 zł (cat. 3), 438 zł (cat. 4), and 1,110 zł for oversized vehicles.

Second increase in 2025 and GDDKiA stance

This is the second price hike this year on the concessionary A2 segment, following an increase to 36 zł for passenger vehicles in March. The Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad (GDDKiA) has criticized these frequent and significant increases, warning of a risk of traffic diverting to alternative routes.
