Military Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship

A Mi-2 military helicopter made an emergency landing near Złotniki Kujawskie in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship on Tuesday evening, carrying two crew members: the pilot and navigator.

Details of the Emergency Landing

The helicopter, which was conducting a night training flight using night vision, landed safely in a field near Złotniki Kujawskie in Inowrocław County. The nearest asphalt road was about 200 meters away.

Investigation of the Incident

The incident has been referred to the Military vacation Commission which will be led by the Military Counter or Military Security. The State-owned Aviation Accident Commission will also investigate the incident.

About the Military Accident Investigation Commission

The Military Accident Investigation Commission (BAŁL) is a military commission established by the Minister of National Defense in agreement with the Minister responsible for internal affairs. The Commission investigates accidents and serious incidents in state-owned aviation, including the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, the Police, Border Guard, and State Fire Service.
