Polish Police and Special Forces Conduct Large-Scale Operation Near Warlubie

Polish police and special forces have conducted a large-scale operation in the vicinity of Warlubie in the Świecie County, Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, related to drug-related crime.

Operation Details

Details of the operation by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Central Anti-Terrorist Unit “BOA” remain unclear. The operation is ongoing, with only the information that it concerns the apprehension of individuals linked to drug-related crime being reported.

Helicopter and Flashbang Grenades Used

Two helicopters, one Black Hawk and one Bell, were used in the operation. A flashbang grenade was reportedly used during one of the arrests, which certainly drew attention from bystanders.

Update Expected on Thursday

It is expected that information on the number of people arrested will be provided by Thursday,” said Komisarz Krzysztof Wrześniowski from the CBŚP press office. “Due to safety and operational effectiveness considerations, we will not provide information on the forces and tools used.
