Warsaw Police Arrest Man Behind Perpetual Thefts of High-Value Perfumes

Police in Warsaw’s Wola district arrested a 21-year-old man on permanent theft charges after linking him to over 20 theft cases involving luxury perfumes worth thousands of złoty.

Repeated Offenses

The suspect, a 21-year-old man, had been known to police from previous arrests and warrant connections. He had been implicated in numerous theft cases across Warsaw and adjacent counties.

Operation against Property Crimes

Investigators connected the man’s activities to similar theft cases throughout Warsaw, identifying him through security footage obtained in previous investigations.

Prosecution and Arrest

Following the collection of evidence, the suspect faced 24 individual charges of theft, carrying maximum penalties of 5 years’ incarceration. Following a prosecutor’s request, the Warsaw-Wola Regional Prosecutor’s Office imposed a 3-month temporary arrest.
