After analyzing security camera footage, conducting interviews with witnesses, and carrying out operational activities, the suspect was identified and taken into custody in July 2025.

The incident occurred around 5:10 AM on May 29, 2025, at the intersection of Czerniakowska and Gagarin streets in Warsaw. The suspect, riding a bicycle, attacked a woman with a knife and fled the scene.
Investigation and Arrest Process
Police had to review over 100 camera recordings from both city and private locations to determine the suspect’s route. The investigation, which included witness interviews, lasted more than a month before leading to the suspect’s identification and arrest.
